Windows Server Vulnerability Engineer- Hybrid (Barnwood) - 6 Month Contract - Inside IR35
We are partnering with a leading IT consultancy to find a talented Windows Server Vulnerability Engineer to join our dynamic team in either Barnwood (Gloucester). This role will focus on managing vulnerability compliance across various Windows Server versions, ensuring a secure and compliant infrastructure for high-profile clients.
This hybrid position requires you to work 2 days a week on-site, with a competitive daily rate of £400, and is signed off inside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- UK Active Security Clearance is mandatory.
- Accountable for managing vulnerability compliance on Windows Server 2003, 2008, 2012, and 2022.
- Experience in server vulnerability remediation.
- Remap Nessus agent on Windows Servers to Tenable One server.
- Able to analyse Tenable One reports for supported Servers.
- Manage Windows Servers including configurations for Active Directory, OU structures, Group Policies, DNS, DFS, and DHCP.
- Ensure availability of Servers without vulnerabilities.
- Prepare remediation plans based on recommendations in Tenable One reports.
- Coordinate and perform zero-day patching to remediate high/critical vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with vendors for remediation involving application upgrades.
What You Will Ideally Bring:
- Extensive hands-on experience managing Windows Server environments.
- Proven track record in vulnerability management and remediation.
- Familiarity with vulnerability assessment tools such as Nessus and Tenable One.
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory and server management.

- Day Rate: Up to £400 Inside IR35
- Location: Barnwood (Gloucester) 2/3 Per Month/Remote
