Your Skills
- More than 3 years of experience as a Solution Architect
- Data Management Expertise: Extensive experience in managing analytical databases, particularly Azure Data Lake, coupled with proficiency in Elastic Search and a demonstrated ability to develop sophisticated data products, including paragraphing strategies in the context of vector databases.
- Advanced Software Architecture Knowledge: Expertise in Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and microservices design principles, with a strong capability in developing asynchronous architectures using messaging components such as service buses.
- Proven track record of architecting scalable, resilient, and maintainable systems
- Deep Azure Proficiency: comprehensive knowledge of Azure, including expertise in Azure API Management (APIM), Logic Apps, Service Bus, Azure Functions, Azure Storage, and Azure SQL
- Proficient in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS): a thorough understanding of Azure Kubernetes Service, with the ability to deploy, manage, and optimize containerized applications using AKS. This expertise should include configuring and maintaining scalable and secure Kubernetes environments within Azure.
- Hands-on experience with .NET Core and .NET Framework, developing and maintaining robust, scalable applications.
- Experience in building large scale architecture to bring ML models (including Gen AI) and rule-based engines to production in complex IT environment
- Model Deployment: Skills in deploying ML models into production environments, which involves knowledge of cloud platforms (like Azure), container technologies (such as Docker and Kubernetes), and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
- Experience in setting up a model monitoring infrastructure to identify drifts in data and model performance
- Experience in Model Operations: Set-up of maintenance, support structure, model life cycle eg deployment of new versions.
- Experience in Model Feedback: Efficient set-up of feedback loops to enable future model improvements.
- LLM Ops: Experience in building prompt libraries, performance tests and prompt optimization upon switch of Large Language Model and implications on overall infrastructure
- Good software development practices including understanding of algorithms, data structures, and computer architecture.
- Expertise in developing Integration of Business Applications like Appian, Power App with AI models.
- English required, German nice to have

Your Tasks
- The Project is an input management initiative designed to enhance document handling and processing. The project aims to provide a platform within the client to enable multiple different document intake business use cases.
- In particular, your role as a Solution Architect involves both the architectural design of the project in detail, but also the implementation of prototypes to enable rapid development.
- Define the architecture of the overall project using microservice principles and built upon the client's Azure-based IT-infrastructure
- Aligning requirements and architecture with the respective staff representing individual sub-parts of the project
- Develop prototypes
- The client utilizes generative and predictive ML/AI models for document processing. The Solution Architect has to integrate the respective models into the architecture and has to make sure that operating principles to monitor the performance of the models (MLOps) are considered
- Loaction: Remote; the possibility to come to Munich once or twice a month will be nice to have.
