An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a global organisation as a Senior Application Tester on a Contract basis in Europe (Remote). The Application Tester will perform quality assurance and software testing activities for new and existing projects being delivered in 2024. Testing projects include functional testing of new features and improvements for incremental product releases as well as integration testing of new services being developed as part of an IT modernisation project. The applicant needs to be eligible to work in the EU.

Skills:

• Having atleast 5- 10 years of experience as a Application Tester
• Should have a very good understanding of software development life cycle
• Experience working with Legacy Systems would be desirable.
• Experience Reviewing business requirements and transforming into test scenarios/cases
• Having a good experience in Functional Requirement analysis and review
• Having a good experience inManual testing (Integration, system, regression and functional testing )
• Assist in test analysis and integration testing of new services being developed as part of the Software Transformation project
• Proven experience in test case and scenario preparations
• Should be able to work with other testers/business/system owners to assist in the identification of regression test cases for critical systems/production batches
• Strong experience in Test Design, Planning and reporting
• Experience in test case automation management.
• Experience with APIs and Cloud platforms
• Experience in assisting in the test planning and test preparation for major releases of projects
• Experience Preparing test cases/test data/script development
• Establish mechanisms for repeatable test execution of new regression suites
• Should prepare test documentation, results and test execution reports
• Strong Experience in different quality assurance methodologies, best practices and processes.Experience documenting test cases and results in qTest
• Should Monitor results from automated regression suites and perform follow-up as necessary
• Good Experience in developing selenium Java automation
• Perform functional and regression testing of the application
• Defining and reviewing automation test packs to improve software quality.
• Experience in SQL, XML. JIRA, Confluence, Test (or equivalent ticketing/wiki/Test Management tool)
• Excellent team collaboration and the ability to proactive research and solve issues
• Experience in deployment using Jenkins
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Contribute to planning, design, and implementation of testing using best-practice techniques and principles.
• Experience in Agile Scrum/TDD/BDD methodologies
• Proven Experience in Recording defects in JIRA and tracking to closure
