Power Apps Low-Code Developer (Contract)

Location: Liverpool Country: UK Rate: £500 - £600 per day + Outside IR35
 

Job Title: Power Apps Low-Code Developer

Overview:
We are seeking a talented Power Apps Low-Code Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Power Apps Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying innovative business solutions using Microsoft Power Apps. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into efficient low-code applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of low-code development principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions.


Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
2. Design and develop custom low-code solutions using Microsoft Power Apps, including canvas apps, model-driven apps, and portals.
3. Customize and extend data models, user interfaces, and business processes within Power Apps.
4. Integrate Power Apps with other Microsoft and third-party services, such as Power Automate, SharePoint, and Dynamics 365.
5. Optimize application performance and ensure scalability, reliability, and security.
6. Conduct unit testing, troubleshooting, and debugging to ensure the quality of deliverables.
7. Provide technical guidance and support to end-users during implementation and post-deployment phases.
8. Stay updated on emerging Power Platform features, best practices, and industry trends.
9. Document design decisions, configurations, and technical specifications for future reference.
10. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, UX/UI designers, and system administrators, to deliver integrated solutions.


Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
2. Proven experience developing low-code solutions using Microsoft Power Apps.
3. Strong understanding of Power Apps capabilities, including canvas apps, model-driven apps, and portals.
4. Proficiency in configuring data sources, entities, and relationships within the Power Apps environment.
5. Experience integrating Power Apps with other Microsoft services (eg, Power Automate, SharePoint, Dynamics 365).
6. Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform components, including Power BI and Power Virtual Agents, is a plus.
7. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
8. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
9. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
10. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
1. Microsoft Power Platform certifications (eg, Power Apps Developer Associate, Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate).
2. Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies.
3. Familiarity with Microsoft Azure services, such as Azure Functions and Azure Active Directory.
4. Experience with version control systems (eg, Git) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
