Excellent long term contract opens for a skilled Power BI SME/ Very strong Power BI & Power Automate Developer with an in depth understanding of Data and how to create from this clean, clear visuals. The successful candidate will function as an engineer within our Data Platform group that will enhance our data analysis and business process automation capabilities, working closely with multiple Products teams and Data Engineers to develop, deploy, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards, as well as design and implement automated workflows using Power Automate and Power Apps that enhance the workflows our Data Engineers implement within our core Data Platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business and data engineer stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business needs for data visualisation and process automation.
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and visualisations.
- Collaborate with our Data Engineers to manage data connections to various data sources, ensuring accuracy and reliability of data within our enterprise and metadata technologies (Unity Catalog and Purview).
- Develop end-to-end automation workflows using Power Automate to streamline business processes,
- Integrate Power Automate workflows with ADF/Data Bricks and encapsulate applications like MatLab to enable seamless data exchange and process automation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data visualisation, automation workflows, and data integrity.
- Collaborate with our Data Governance and Security teams to ensure proper data governance, security, and compliance standards are met.
- Provide training and support to users on Power BI and Power Automate best practices.
- Stay up to date with the latest developments in Power BI and Power Automate to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
