Senior Software Developer (Permanent)
Location: London Country: UK Rate: £65k - £70k per annum
 

Senior Software Developer (Remote - UK, 1 Day/Month London Office)

We are working with a dynamic trading company looking for a talented Back End Developer to join their growing team. In this remote-first role, you will play a key part in building and maintaining the critical Back End systems that power their trading operations.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust Back End systems using Node.js (min. 5 years experience)
  • Build and implement APIs using WebSockets and API Gateway
  • Integrate with AWS services including Kinesis Data Streams (experience highly desirable)
  • Collaborate with Front End developers (experience with ReactJS a plus)
  • Implement infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform
  • Automate deployments using CI/CD pipelines

You will be a great fit if you have:

  • Proven experience as a Back End Developer (min. 5 years)
  • Strong experience with Node.js and related technologies
  • Experience with building and deploying web sockets and APIs
  • Solid understanding of AWS cloud services (min. 3 years experience)
  • Experience with Terraform and CI/CD pipelines

Nice to have:

  • Experience with ReactJS Front End development
  • Experience working in the trading industry
