Network Engineer - £500/day Inside IR35 - 3 months Contract (possibility of extension) - Leeds (Home-based) - SCC FLEX CONTRACT

We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer for our client's team, focusing on Firewall remediation to enhance the security of our client's network infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting audits, developing remediation plans, implementing changes, and ensuring the effectiveness of Firewall security policies.

Note: Security Clearance (DBS Check) within the last 3 months is required for this role.

Your responsibilities as a Network Engineer:

• Assessment: Conduct thorough audits of current Firewall security policies across all devices to identify vulnerabilities or inconsistencies.
• Planning: Develop detailed remediation plans outlining steps to address identified issues effectively.
• Implementation: Execute remediation plans, update or refine security policies and configure Firewall settings on devices from Juniper, Fortinet, Cisco, and AlgoSec Firewall Analyzer.
• Testing & Validation: Conduct rigorous testing post-implementation to ensure remediated policies work as expected and identified issues are effectively addressed.
• Documentation: Document all changes made, provide a summary of the remediation process, and offer recommendations for maintaining security policies moving forward.

As a suitable Network Engineer, you'll have:

• Expertise in Firewall security policies.
• AlgoSec experience.
• Proficiency with Juniper, Fortinet, Cisco, and AlgoSec Firewall Analyzer devices.
• Previous experience in Firewall remediation projects.
• Relevant certifications: CISCO CCNP, JNCIA, CISCO CCIE, CISCO CCDA
