Business Impact Assessment Consultant (Contract)

Location: Manchester, Greater Manchester, England Country: UK Rate: £500 - 600 per day
 

Business Impact Assessment Consultant - 1 month contract - Outside of IR35

My client is seeking a talented and experienced Business Impact Assessment Consultant to join our team. You are required to come in and confirm the company's critical systems, assess, and teach the team how to complete Business Critical Assessments.

Technical capabilities would be beneficial in order for you to understand and pick up on technical and security risks. The main technologies they need assessing are AWS and Azure primarily.

Key Responsibilities for the Business Impact Assessment Consultant:

  • Conduct comprehensive business impact assessments, evaluating potential risks, opportunities, and implications of proposed strategies, projects, or market changes.
  • Utilize a variety of analytical tools, methodologies, and frameworks to assess and quantify the potential financial, operational, and strategic impacts on client organizations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data, conduct analysis, and develop actionable recommendations for clients to mitigate risks, capitalize on opportunities, and optimize business performance.
  • Ability to explain process of identification of critical systems in and interview.
  • Provide some details on approach to completing BIAs, and how you help train staff to complete BIAs etc.
  • Teaching and knowledge transfer to wider team on how to complete BIAs.
  • Communicate findings, insights, and recommendations effectively to clients through written reports, presentations, and stakeholder engagements.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to clients throughout the implementation of recommended strategies, monitoring impact, and adjusting approaches as needed.
