Infrastructure Lead x2 (Liverpool & Warrington) (Permanent)

Location: Warrington, Cheshire Country: UK Rate: £50k - £57k per annum + benefits package
 

Infrastructure Lead

There are currently x2 permanent vacancies for experienced Infrastructure Leads/3rd Line Infrastructure Engineers to join a busy national Retailer being based full time at either of their warehouses in Liverpool or Warrington.

The successful applicant will need experience using AS400. Unfortunately, we will not be able to consider candidates that have not got good knowledge of this system.

They will also require:

  • Degree level qualification in computer science or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Advanced experience and knowledge of network security & infrastructure, ERP (AS400), desktop systems and applications, mobile device management
  • Experience of leading technical teams.
  • Experience of managing 3rd party IT service providers.
  • Experience of managing business improvement initiatives.

The duties of the role will include:

  • Manage and deliver the IT performance & KPIs for 24/7 warehouse operation and my dedicated stores.
  • Manage IT capacity, resilience and on-site IT assets for the warehouse IT operation and IT assets for the stores.
  • Diagnosing and resolving IT software, equipment and infrastructure issues, minimising operational impact for my warehouse operation and stores.
  • Implementing IT process improvements to improve operation efficiency.
  • Provide regular IT performance reporting to operational stakeholders.
  • Ensure on site IT users have correct IT access and allocated IT equipment.
  • Maintain IT user access controls and system security protocols are adhered to at all times.
