Security Consultant (Permanent)

Location: Ipswich, Suffolk Country: UK Rate: Up to £69k per annum
 

Security Consultant (Information Security)

Ipswich, UK (3 days on-site)

Role Overview:

As a Security Consultant, you will provide security expertise to an organization and its sub-entities, focusing on supporting business partners to ensure secure service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business units to manage security effectively.
  • Raise awareness of security activities and their associated risks.
  • Provide consultancy on projects, solution design, and security policies.
  • Conduct risk assessments and recommend treatment options.
  • Maintain relationships with partners to ensure security requirements are met.
  • Support project security needs and facilitate risk acknowledgment plans.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with Agile frameworks and DevSecOps environments.
  • Proficient in risk assessment and governance frameworks.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in office software.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Information Security certification (eg, CISSP, CISM).
  • Experience in multinational environments.
