Network Engineer/Infrastructure Engineer, SC Cleared, Outside IR35

Network Engineer/Infrastructure Engineer with strong Networks experience required to help our client deliver a tactical site migration project. Must be a sole national Engineer with active SC Clearance.

This role will involve working with the team to achieve the following (discovery, then migration planning):

• Identification of all sites with network connection which would need to be migrated.
• Identification of all device types which have reach-back to the company network and would require migration.
• Identification of all individual devices at each site which will require migration.
• CMDB database validation - Validating existing CMDB database with the inventory per site and request for correct.
• Wall to Wall survey for Inventory discovery (as required)
• Site Assets discovery - Network (WAN, LAN, WLAN, Security) and peripheral devices (BMS, IT/OT, sensors)
• Site Connectivity/Circuit discovery - Circuit inventory at each site, type of circuits (MPLS, P2P, Internet), this is including circuit ID and vendor information.

The ideal candidate will have the following experiences;

• EOSL devices and recommendations
• IT/OT Network discovery
• Inventory list along with EOL and EOS detail
• Circuit and BW utilization report
• Network Topologies
• Device configuration review
• Identify network migration activities and level of effort for each site, inclusive of circuits.
• Identify time required to plan, execute, test & confirm completion of network and device migration at each site.

Suited candidates must be able to work onsite in the Cheltenham and surrounding areas.
