Senior Oracle ERP Analyst (Contract/Permanent)

Location: London Country: UK Rate: £65k - £70k per annum
 

Location: London (Hybrid, 2 days a week on-site)

Contract: Fixed term 12 months

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9.30 am to 5.30 pm (with occasional out-of-hours support)

About the Role:

I am seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Cloud Analyst to join my clients dynamic Technology team. Reporting to the Oracle Applications Team Lead/Manager, this role involves both functional and technical development of Oracle Fusion Cloud Modules, including HCM, ERP, and EPM. Your core responsibilities will include enhancing system functionality, configuring Oracle to support best practices, and ensuring the security and integrity of sensitive data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and coordinate quarterly Oracle updates, including impact assessments and testing.
  • Solve functional problems, develop configurations, and manage system administration.
  • Serve as Release Manager, ensuring smooth transitions to Production.
  • Engage with senior stakeholders and end-users to propose and implement system enhancements.
  • Manage issue tracking and logging for business users.
  • Gather requirements, create reports, and advise on best practices using BI Publisher, OTBI, and dashboards.
  • Design, configure, and maintain BPM approval workflows.
  • Support the Finance Department's financial book close cycle.
  • Mentor and train team members as needed.
  • Document BAU processes and support user guides.
  • Troubleshoot and develop integrations via OIC.
  • Raise and track SRs with Oracle Support.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience with Oracle Fusion, specifically ERP modules: GL, AP, AR (including Advanced Collections), CM, FA, Procurement, and Expenses.
  • Proficiency in Approval Rules and BPM setup/configuration.
  • Knowledge of HCM and Payroll.
  • Technical skills in Oracle reporting methods (BI Publisher, OTBI, analytics, dashboards).
  • Experience with OIC and REST API skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with FBDI and HDL upload templates.
  • Understanding of accounting practices.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Ability to manage senior-level user relationships.
  • Structured, analytical, and logical thinking.
  • Proactive and flexible approach to problem-solving.
