Role - Full Stack Developer (Java, React/Angular)
Duration - end of the year
Contract Inside IR35
Location - Glasgow Hybrid 2 days

Role Details:
Key Accountabilities

  • Design, develop, enhance and maintain software solutions leveraging technologies such as JAVA, Spring, Angular/React, jBPM/Camunda and Databases on public/private cloud environment
  • Work closely with product owners and analysts to understand requirements and deliver high quality solutions
  • Provide estimates for software builds, including design, development and testing
  • Assist L2 Support teams to resolve user queries and production issues
  • Support, monitoring and troubleshooting of both production and non- production environments
  • Participate in SDLC feedback loops including code reviews & sprint retrospectives.

Essential Skills/Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience in system design, development, architecture and solving complex IT problems
  • Experience developing medium to large size software application covering:
  • Experience in Core Java 1.8+, multi-threading
  • Hands-on experience in HTML5 and CSS3 frameworks and knowledge in React/Angular, JavaScript Node JS
  • Middleware messaging experience with MQ/TIBCO or Kafka
  • Experience working with Databases, SQL/NoSQL
  • Working Experience with Spring, Spring Boot, GIT, ANT, IntelliJ/Eclipse, JIRA
  • Knowledge of HTTP protocol and web services
  • General Server Side development and deployment
  • Unix hands on for simple scripts, checking logs/processes etc.
  • Experience with dev-ops culture and ci/cd methods and principles
  • Good knowledge of standard development and build tools, eg, GIT, TeamCity etc.
  • Experience in Distributed Caching, Agile Delivery Methodologies, Unit Testing methodologies & DevOps
  • A team player who takes initiative and can influence the development of the system.
  • Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Experience working as part of an agile development team

Desirable skills/Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience building systems in the financial services organization and in financial crime domain.
  • Knowledge of Graph Technologies including Graph-QL
  • Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and principles
  • Good understanding of SDLC and agile processes
