Conferencing Delivery Manager

Whitehall Resources are currently looking for a Conferencing Delivery Manager based in Cheshire for a 3 month contract.

*OUTSIDE IR35.*

The role is within the clients Conferencing team who are focused on running pilots and service introduction activities for new technologies (eg, booking panels and digital signage players).

The primary objective is to ensure these technologies pass agreed sign-off criteria and successfully integrate into the Conferencing service before being adopted by global sites and incorporated into refresh programs.

The Delivery Manager leads small delivery squads to meet the clients conferencing technology demands. This role requires adherence to established delivery management standards and involves identifying potential areas for capability improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Lead and coordinate small delivery squads to fulfil technology demands efficiently and effectively, ensuring adherence to delivery plans including timelines, activities, resources, costs, roles, and responsibilities.
  • Pilot Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and assessment of pilot projects for new conferencing technologies, ensuring they meet established criteria before full-scale implementation.
  • Service Introduction: Ensure new technologies integrate seamlessly into existing conferencing services, coordinating with the Acceptance to Service (ATS) team to complete required service introduction items prior to production deployments.
  • Arch & Security compliance: Ensure the delivery squad adheres to all standards, quality, and compliance requirements, as well as defined technical capabilities and best practices.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and propose improvements to enhance delivery capabilities and overall service quality, supporting senior colleagues in the continued development of process capabilities and best practice adoption.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders regarding project status, milestones, issues, and risks. Manage relationships with business stakeholders to effectively capture business requirements and secure commitment to delivery objectives.
  • Risk and Issue Management: Identify, manage, and escalate risks and issues as appropriate to ensure timely resolution.
  • Training and Support: Facilitate training and provide support to ensure smooth adoption of new technologies across global sites.
  • Collaboration: Work with the Supplier Management function to manage the delivery of small-sized supplier contracts.
  • Collaborate with internal and external suppliers to ensure the delivery of agreed products and services while adhering to project delivery standards.
  • Engage with business stakeholders to ensure effective capturing of business requirements and commitment to project objectives

Key Skills:

  • Delivery/Project Management: Strong project management experience in leading the delivery of small teams and activities in conferencing technology demands, adherence to established delivery management standards involving identifying potential areas for capability improvement.
  • Experience in delivering new technologies ideally in conferencing, running pilots and service introduction activities for new technologies (eg, booking panels and digital signage players would be advantageous
  • Experience in ensuring technologies pass agreed sign-off criteria and successfully integrate into the Conferencing service, before being adopted by global sites and incorporated into refresh programs.
  • Collaboration:Proficiency in working with suppliers and internal teams to deliver products and services.
  • Stakeholder Management: Experience in managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
