Project Manager - MS Dynamics F&O

Rate: Circa £550 - £650 PD - Outside IR35
Location: London, City - 3 days minimum onsite
Duration: 6-12 months

We are thrilled to announce a fantastic opportunity with a prominent transportation company launching a new Dynamics (F&O) program this June. As the contractor, you will immerse yourself in the environment, gather requirements, and oversee the project implementation. You will collaborate with the vendor to ensure the solution is not only suitable but also maximizes its potential. Additionally, you will provide training and transition the solution to a Business-as-Usual (BAU) state. This is a remarkable chance to deliver a high-profile greenfield project.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Manage the full project life cycle: Design, implement, roll out, and provide aftercare
• Take ownership: Oversee project management, deliverables, timelines, and relationships with vendors and consultants
• Review and challenge: Scrutinize requests from external providers
• Guide input collection: Manage contributions from internal finance teams and stakeholders
• Sign off deliverables: Approve proposed deliverables before seeking business owner confirmation
• Support system implementations: Assist through design, parametrization, customization, testing, and reporting
• Monitor performance: Track data quality and collaborate with integrators
• Drive data strategies: Manage data cleansing and internal testing, including test scripts
• Analyze and recommend: Address business process issues with consulting assistance and propose solutions
• Maintain systems: Monitor, maintain, and upgrade information systems
• Document processes: Create new process and procedure documentation
• Supervise staff: Oversee software support staff and partners, and participate in hiring and training new finance team members
• Manage stakeholders: Engage with internal and external stakeholders weekly

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Over 8 years of experience, preferably in a large, multicultural international organization (transportation industry is beneficial)
• Extensive experience with Azure DevOps
• Proficient in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting MS Dynamics
• Skilled in software interfacing with ERPs and data mapping
• Capable of communicating technical details to non-technical audiences
• Expertise in designing concise and effective reports
• Adept at providing expert end-user support for complex problems
• Experienced in creating comprehensive system user documentation
• Talented in developing and leading engaging training sessions
• Proficient in evaluating and designing systems for business processes
