Optiview is a leading manufacturer and reseller of security equipment, including cutting edge technologies such as facial recognition, thermal and heat mapping capabilities, access control, large scale enterprise level networked solutions. Optiview has undertaken an ambitious growth plan and has an immediate need for a Technical Sales Advisor to serve as a key member of our organization delivering client satisfaction and project results through all aspects of daily technical sales functions.


Expect to walk into a fun environment built on open, friendly relationships. As a sales representative for Optiview, commonly known as our Technical Sales Advisor. This position works with a range of clients - dealers, engineers, general contractors, architects, government officials - as well as our internal team, to sell Optiviews range of Security products and solutions. Our Technical Sales Advisors are provided with all aspects of company support and training in order to ensure your understanding of Optiview's products and industry specific applications where our solutions are recommended and utilized for over 20 years. You will be responsible for handling in-bound calls and generating strategies and targets for outbound calls including cold calls. And while your ultimate responsibility is to security solutions and products, you'll find that you accomplish this goal by building relationships and providing outstanding service.

Extremely competitive pay - base salary plus bonuses average to $40,000 to $60,000 in the first year (base pay + uncapped bonus potential).

Career Path:

  • Sales Manager

  • Director of Sales


  • Bachelor's Degree preferred

  • Between 3 to 10 years of experience in sales, ideally in the CCTV or IT areas

  • Highly motivated earner

  • Polite, professional, collegial, energetic and presentable, with strong communication, organization, detail oriented and customer service skills

  • Ability to ask for the sale and handle customer requests

  • Thirst for career development and continuous learning

  • Valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and the ability to pass a drug test and a background check
