The Technical Manager's role is to create the IT strategies and procedures to support enterprise-wide IT based operations, including satellite locations, new Hub and Spoke acquisitions, and special projects. The Technical Manager is responsible for the overall success of multiple projects simultaneously in order to keep pace with the demands of Client Strategic goals. The Technical Project Manager will work closely with SMC.
Provide support to local and remote sites within the tri-state area and Florida (driver's license and vehicle required)
Meet weekly at the Client Logistics meeting in the executive board room
Review blue prints with department directors for hardware needs, and create budgets for Finance
Develop and oversee rollout strategies for hardware and software deployments throughout the enterprise
Work with vendors to obtain Human resources to rollout IT hardware
Communicate Client values and supervision to Technical Project Coordinator
Use of GHX Procurement Suite and Eclipse project management software
Responsible for network access to HVAC, X-Ray, Card Access, Security Cameras, network and technologies as required
Manage emergency site situations such as fire, theft, flood and weather delays at all Client Enterprise sites during rollouts.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
At least 6-10 years of hardware builds and deployments
High level understanding of IT infrastructure deployment projects in medium to large enterprises.
High level of understanding across server, network and PC Desktop environments
High level understanding of Project Management
Demonstrated success working across organizational boundaries
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required
A+ certified or CCNA or MCP certification or equivalent
Proficiency in Word and Excel
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to interact effectively with management, technical and vendor teams
Displays effective analytical and management skills
Ability to communicate with colleagues in technical, non-technical and management roles in terms and language that they understand
Experience with infrastructure-related products and services
Able to build confidence and trust with employees and customers
