We are currently hiring highly skilled and motivated Systems Engineers in Tampa, FL.
As a Systems Engineer, you will play a crucial role in bringing our products through the systems engineering life cycle, to include designing, implementing, and maintaining systems that support our customer missions.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of hardware, software, and network components to achieve optimal system performance and reliability.
The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented problem solver with a strong technical background and a passion for building robust systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Design, develop, and implement complex systems architecture to technical requirements.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather system requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate capabilities into the overall system architecture, considering both technical and operational aspects, and align delivery plans with overall project timelines and milestones.
Support installation and configuration of system hardware, operating systems, and software applications.
Perform system integration, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure system functionality.
Develop and maintain system documentation, including configuration details, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams, assisting with system-related issues.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors degree in engineering or a related field
6+ years experience working as a Systems Engineer or in a similar role
Strong knowledge of systems engineering principles and methodologies
Proficiency in designing and implementing complex systems architecture
Solid understanding of hardware, operating systems, network protocols, software applications, and cloud technologies
Experience with system integration, testing, and troubleshooting
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and collaboration abilities
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Eligible to obtain a security clearance (U.S. citizenship required)
HIGHLY DESIRED
Masters degree in engineering or a related field
Active TS/SCI security clearance
Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
Experience in a customer-facing or consulting role
Experience with system architectures that include software containerization, Kubernetes, AWS, and Azure
