As a CISOaaS (Chief Information Security Officer as a Service) Consultant, you'll play a critical role in shaping the cybersecurity strategies of a high-profile organisation. This role provides a unique platform to influence security initiatives, protect against dynamic cyber threats, and foster a culture of security excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted security advisor, clarifying requirements and building organisation-wide awareness of cybersecurity risks.
- Regularly assess remediation efforts, pinpointing issues and ensuring timely resolutions.
- Establish and manage core security functions, facilitating effective communication with the board, executive leadership, and external partners.
- Champion cybersecurity awareness programs, supporting training efforts that align colleagues with best practices.
- Design and deliver custom training for high-priority audiences, including High Privileged Users and board members.
- Address technical cybersecurity inquiries from both internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications and Skills
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Must hold certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or CRISC, with knowledge of project and change management frameworks (eg, Prince2, ITIL, ADKAR) being an advantage.
Language Proficiency
- Fluent in French, Dutch, and English.
Professional Experience
- Over 5 years of experience across cybersecurity domains, including Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) and security architecture.
- Strong analytical skills, able to break down complex issues and derive insights from evidence and assumptions.
- Prior experience in financial services is advantageous.
- Proficiency in key security areas such as vulnerability management and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM).
