C# Developer - Microservices - Banking - Financial Services (Contract)
Location: Basel Country: Switzerland
 

C# Developer - Microservices - Banking - Financial Services - This is a long term contractrequiring profound Microservices knowledge for our Basel based client in the financial sector.

Your tasks:

  • Collaborating within the IT team to advance our microservices stack in C#
  • Updating and breaking down an old .NET Framework codebase to move it to .NET Core and OpenShift containers
  • Developing WPF dashboards for streamlined operations of our Risk Operations team
  • Aiding in transitioning our platform to utilize a Cloudera-based Data Lake platform
  • Implementing Kafka-based streaming architecture to replace Legacy interfaces to banking systems

Your experience/knowledge:

  • Strong C# development experience
  • Strong grasp of common algorithms, data structures and design patterns
  • Expertise with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server
  • Experience in microservices architecture design, WPF, Python, Kafka, OpenShift is a plus
  • Previous exposure to the financial services industry, especially within banking or risk calculation domains is advantageous
  • Language skills: English - fluent in written and spoken

  • End-to-end problem-solving skills, capable of identifying root causes and devising practical solutions
  • Logical approach to problem-solving with a proactive and practical mindset
