Network Operation Engineer (Permanent)

Permanent Contract

We have a current opportunity for a Network Operation Engineer on a permanent basis. The position will be based in Aarau.

what you will do:

  • Ensuring trouble-free operation of infrastructure.
  • Receiving, analysing, and resolving faults.
  • Handling service requests and forwarding tickets to appropriate departments.
  • Supporting field staff with access, installation, and troubleshooting.
  • Improving operational processes (ITIL) and documentation.
  • Representing the NOC in projects.

Requirements:

  • Technical education in electrical engineering, telecommunications, or IT.
  • Knowledge of technologies such as VoIP, WDM, IP, MPLS.
  • ITIL knowledge (certification is a plus).
  • Excellent knowledge of German and English; French or Italian is a plus
