For our customer a big pharmaceutical company in Basel we are looking for Senior Python Developer (m/f/d).

This position is located in Data Products & Platforms, a chapter within the Data & Analytics function, which pushes boundaries of drug discovery and development, enabling pRED to achieve its goals.

The perfect candidate has good skills in software development, a focus on meeting the customer requirements and excellent team working.

Tasks & Responsibilities:
* Deliver the "Create my Draft" project to use LLMs to assist creating draft documents to support clinical trials (LayCTDs, and ICFs)
* The project will be in close collaboration with the Clinical Trial Execution value stream.
* The focus will be on implementing the project requirements to deliver a Minimum Viable Product (MVP).

Must Haves:
* Strong programming skills: Proficiency in Python, with a solid understanding of software development principles and best practices
* Experience with LLM Frameworks (ideally LangChain, and AzureOpenAPI) from the perspective of an engineer
* Familiar with implementing user interfaces (particularly Streamlit/Posit Connect)
* Regularly uses CI/CD and DevOps: Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment using GitLab, GitOps, and Kubernetes for hosting services is advantageous
* Has already delivered a successful project integrating LLMs for a text generation use case
* Fluent in English. Proficiency in German is appreciated
* Experience in an agile environment following Scrum or Kanban
