Network Security Engineer vacancy for our Zurich based client in the financial sector.

Your tasks:

• Configuring and maintaining Checkpoint Firewall, Proxy, cloud security, and VPN systems
• Installing and configuring Firewalls and VPN access according to security policies
• Managing Firewall policies, ensuring adherence to security standards and best practices
• Performing upgrades and applying patches to Firewall and VPN systems
• Responding to and resolve incidents related to Firewall and VPN systems
• Participating in problem management to address recurring issues and improve Firewall infrastructure

Your experience/knowledge:

• Proficient in designing and managing network routing and switching configurations
• Several years of experience in Firewall technologies, particularly Checkpoint
• Background in Security Operations Center (SOC) or IT Operations
• Willingness and availability to respond to on-call duties and urgent operational needs
• Language skills: English, German, Swiss German - fluent in written and spoken
