Analyst Developer Risk IT (Contract)
Location: Basel Country: Switzerland Rate: CHF100 - 110 per hour
Source Group are currently working alongside a bank who are looking to hire 2 x Freelance C# Developers/Analysts to join the team in Switzerland. Please note this role requires full relocation to Switzerland.
The Succesful Developer will be part of a team building financial risk management systems. As a analyst developer able to take ownership of duties and deliver stable and incremental changes on frequently. Financial services experience, with the ability to gather requirements from and work with end users.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
As part of the Risk IT team, contribute to the continued development of the Risk IT micro-services stack in C#.
Refactoring and breaking down of a Legacy .NET Framework codebase into smaller components to be migrated to .NET Core and eventually OpenShift containers.
Development of dashboards to automate the operations of a Risk Operations team, built in WPF.
Helping Risk IT move their platform to utilize a Cloudera base Data Lake platform.
Replacing Legacy interfaces to Banking system with a Kafka based streaming architecture
Must haves:
Strong working development experience in an Object-Oriented language such as C#, Java or C++ and a willingness to work on a C# codebase.
Strong working knowledge of common algorithms and data structures and design patterns. We would expect the candidates to have a good understanding of design patterns and with an ability to prove their delivery skills
Experience working with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server etc. (all listed databases are at the same level in terms of expected experience)
Strong desire to deliver business values frequently and incrementally
