Senior User Researcher

Contract length: 12 months (extensions available)

Location: Remote work (once a month site visits)

Clearance: SC required (NPPV3 undertaken before starting)

A renowned consultancy working with a government body is looking for a contract senior researcher. Strategizing and leading user research activities on complex services, through utilization of varied research techniques, the project will be focused on advancing the UK government's capabilitie

Key Responsibilities

• Leading the planning, design, and implementation of user research and usability testing to gain insights into user needs and behaviors, informing the design and development of government services
• Influencing decision-making processes and constructively challenging ideas at both the team level and with senior stakeholders
• Taking a user-centered, evidence-driven approach by translating research findings into actionable insights that shape service and product development
• Ensuring digital delivery teams create accessible services by including participants with access needs and low digital skills in all research activities and maintaining best practices.

Required Qualifications

• HO SC clearance.
• Experience with varied research, test and interview techniques.
• User research (HO) - level 4
