We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Enterprise Data Architect to join our IT team. This position will be full-time, hybrid, and is a contract position to be extended for 1-2 more years.
We are looking for a local contractor who is available to come into the office for meetings. Contractor will be able to work remotely a lot of the time.

What You'll Do
Design the blueprint for clients data management framework
Collaborate with client IT management and other teams to develop a data strategy that meets departmental needs and industry requirements
Create an inventory of the data necessary to build and implement a data architecture
Envision, design data pipelines and how data will flow through the enterprise
Maintain a repository of all data architecture procedures and artifacts
Develop measures that ensure data accuracy, integrity and accessibility
Continually monitor, refine and report data management system performance
Conduct an Assessment of the Current State of Data Systems
Establish the System of Record and Data Dictionary for Data Systems
Develop Enterprise Architecture
Create and construct Conceptual, Logical, and Physical Models
Lead design reviews of data models and relevant metadata to ensure consistency
Consult with Database Administrators regarding the creation of physical data schemas, referential integrity, and the fulfillment of business requirements
Mentor DOL team members on all facets of Data Modeling
What You'll Need
Required
The enterprise data architect must have a deep understanding of AWS services and cloud infrastructure
This skill set includes proficiency in AWS core services such as EC2, S3, VPC, and RDS, as well as an understanding of advanced services like AWS Lambda, Amazon ECS, and AWS Outposts
15+ years of experience in Business/working as a Data Architect, Data Modeler, Data Analyst
Hands on Experience and Expertise in using AWS tools: AWS glue, data brew, AWS Lambda, AWS S3, AWS Dynamo DB, AWS RDS, Athena, Redshift, DMS
Hands on Experience and Expertise in creating and automating Data pipelines using AWS services
Expertise in Data Management Principles
Expertise in Master Data Management Principles
Expertise in Data Governance Concepts
Expertise in Data Engineering Methodologies
Expertise in Data Modeling, Solution Architecture, Master Data Management (MDM), Gathering and Systems Analysis
Proficient in, NoSQL, Relational MDM Data Modeling
Experience in Data Governance with Collibra
Experienced in working with different Software Development Methodologies.
15 plus years of Data Architecture experience
10 plus years of AWS Cloud Architecture experience
