IT Test Manager, Remote with some travel across the UK to various sites, (ERP, automation, manufacturing, test management)

My global manufacturing company are currently recruiting for an IT Test Manager who will be responsible for the testing lifecycle of the organisation s global ERP programme and IT systems.

You will work closely with the organisation s ERP supplier, to develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans that align with project requirements and organisational goals.
You will define the scope, objectives, and schedule for testing activities, ensuring that all testing processes adhere to industry standards and best practices.

Essential experience required for the role;

• experience leading and mentoring testing teams, including managing resource allocation, team dynamics, and performance evaluation.
• some exposure to the manufacturing sector/industry.
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools (eg, Selenium, QTP, JUnit) and frameworks, with a track record of implementing and managing automated testing processes.
• Experience using test management tools (eg, JIRA, TestRail, HP ALM) and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Thorough understanding of SDLC models (eg, Waterfall, Agile, DevOps) and how testing fits into each phase.
• Familiar with various Testing Methodologies, Planning & Design.
• Ability to work effectively with developers, product managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to align testing with project goals.
