Senior Engineer Infrastructure Operations - Active Directory
One of our clients is recruiting for a Senior Engineer Infrastructure Operations - Active Directory to join the Platforms team for a 6 month initial contract. They are offering 484 per day, outside IR35.
This role is hybrid working, 3 days per week on site. Our client is based near Milton Keynes - commutable from Northampton, East Midlands, Bedford, Luton or Central London.
This role is working in a Security Cleared environment. A minimum of DV clearance is required for this role. Therefore, you will need to be SC or DV cleared or eligible to undertake SC or DV Security Clearance.
Experience Required:
- Support various project deliveries, be a subject matter expert within the Active Directory Technical space
- Carry out routine configuration, installation and set up of Active Directory services, including PKI, DNS and Group Policies
- Agile ITIL Foundation level/relevant experience
- Microsoft role-based certification
- Expert and relevant product certifications
- Active Directory Management, PKI, Group Policy, DNS/DHCP
- MS Exchange
- Windows OS
- Practitioner level knowledge of hardware, software and systems being supported
- PS Scripting
- RBACS
- Substantial experience in an enterprise environment, and of working within a secure environment.
- Experience in a high-pressured, fast-paced team
- Agile ITIL Foundation level/relevant experience
- Programming and build; PS, Ansible

On-Call Shifts
There will be a requirement for the individual to work a number of on-call shifts as part of this role covering standard BAU services. A flat fee is payable for completing an on-call shift of 50 for a 12 hour weekday shift (7pm - 7am) and 100 paid for a 24 hour weekend or bank holiday shift (7.00am - 7.00am) whether the individual is called upon or not. The individual is expected to complete a minimum of 6 on-call shifts across a 4 week cycle.
