Cryptography Specialist | Long-Term Project | Financial Enterprise

As a Cryptography Specialist, you will be tasked with developing, implementing, and maintaining robust encryption solutions to protect our data. This position demands a high level of expertise in encryption technologies, a deep understanding of cybersecurity practices, and extensive knowledge of data-in-use encryption.

• Design and deploy encryption strategies to secure data at rest, in transit, and in use.
• Evaluate and choose suitable encryption algorithms and tools that adhere to industry standards.
• Configure and manage encryption keys and certificates.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to manage Hardware Security Modules (HSMs).
• Conduct encryption audits to ensure compliance with security standards and regulations.
• Work with IT and security teams to integrate encryption solutions into the existing infrastructure.
• Monitor and troubleshoot encryption systems to maintain optimal performance and security.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in encryption technologies and cybersecurity threats.
• Train and support staff on encryption best practices.

• Develop a strategy and roadmap with stakeholders for the implementation of encryption for data at rest, in transit, and in use for critical systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance key management systems and ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Ensure the encryption strategy addresses all potential data leakage channels.
• Develop a Data Security governance framework with stakeholder support.
• Create detailed procedure and process documentation for data security.
• Utilize existing encryption tools and technologies, such as AES, RSA, and PKI.
• Work closely with stakeholders to integrate encryption solutions seamlessly.
• Improve overall data security and compliance with industry standards.
• Enhance the company's encryption posture to prevent data breaches and ensure regulatory compliance.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Extensive experience with encryption technologies and tools (eg, AES, RSA, SSL/TLS, PKI).
• Strong understanding of cryptographic protocols and security frameworks.
• In-depth knowledge of data-in-use encryption technologies.
• Experience with key management systems and practices.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to data encryption (eg, FIPS, GDPR).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and technical documentation abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
