Our client is undergoing an exciting transformation, migrating all on-premise services to AWS public cloud. This transformation is driven by the Nimbus programme, which aims to revolutionize our business and organizational model, enabling developers to benefit from public cloud. The Cloud Transformation team within the Cloud and Infrastructure (C&I) department, under the Governance and Strategy tribe, is at the helm of this initiative. We are seeking a Project Manager to support the leading Programme Manager in executing this critical transformation.

Key Responsibilities

Governance Frameworks: Implement program governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure alignment with organizational goals, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
KPIs and Metrics Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success and performance of programs and projects, providing regular reports and updates to senior management.
Risk Management: Establish risk management processes and procedures to identify, assess, and mitigate risks throughout the project life cycle, ensuring timely resolution and escalation as needed.
Contracts and Procurement: Oversee contracts and procurement activities, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and supplier management, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, budget constraints, and quality standards.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including project managers, business units, legal, finance, and procurement teams, to gather requirements, define project scope, and manage expectations.
Project Execution: Lead the execution of project plans, schedules, and budgets, monitoring progress and performance against established milestones and deliverables.
Project Reviews and Audits: Conduct regular project reviews and audits to identify areas for improvement, implement corrective actions, and optimize project performance and efficiency.
Reporting: Maintain high-quality reporting standards to support weekly programme management meetings, sponsor updates, and quarterly Product and Tech steering committees.

Qualifications:

Passion for Technology: You love technology and have experience managing projects related to technology, ideally in tech companies.
Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, or a related field; PMP or similar certification preferred.
Project Management Experience: Proven experience as a project manager or program manager overseeing complex initiatives, focusing on governance, KPIs, risk management, contracts, and procurement.
Methodology Expertise: Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and programs effectively.
Governance and Risk Management: Experience developing and implementing program governance frameworks, KPIs, and risk management processes in a corporate environment.
Contract and Vendor Management: Demonstrated expertise in contract negotiation, procurement, and vendor management, with a track record of driving cost savings and operational efficiencies.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence decision-making at all organizational levels.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues and risks.
Cloud Migration Experience: Ideally, experience working in distributed public cloud migration projects.
