IT chapter lead - Java

The Role
As an IT Chapter Lead, you'll play a crucial role in leading a high-performing team of software engineers while driving cultural change. You will focus your time as a Senior Java Engineer, and in people development, expertise building, and working with your peers to help the tribe succeed.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Lead by example in promoting the agile mindset and continuous delivery practices.
- Manage the personal development and evaluation of chapter members, leveraging feedback from squad teams.
- Encourage professional and personal growth, while actively coaching and mentoring your team.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technical trends, tools, and frameworks relevant to the Java ecosystem.
- Ensure the squad operates at peak efficiency, both technically and culturally.
Technical Skills
- At least 10 years of experience in the Java ecosystem, with a strong understanding of software architecture.
- Hands-on experience with continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) processes.
- Solid experience in implementing test strategies (JUnit, Selenium, Cucumber).
- Familiarity with monitoring solutions (Kibana, Grafana) and performance optimization.
- Strong ability to translate business requirements into high-quality technical solutions.

- Excellent communication and diplomacy skills, with the ability to engage and motivate teams.
- A proactive attitude and a constant drive to improve processes and ways of working.
- Solution-oriented thinking, able to analyze complex issues and find creative solutions.
