With over 25 brands, we provide an expanding set of services to children and adults nationwide, with a focus on improving the dental health of underserved communities.

The BI/Data warehouse developer role reports to the Director of Business Analytics and is a member of the Business Analytics team. The job involves programming queries for the enterprise data warehouse, programming end user reports, and providing training and support for end users in the latest BI tools. The role will interact with all parts of the company both technical and non-technical.

Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:

• Meet with end users, analyze information needs, and recommend reporting and analytic solutions
• Program reports using Microsoft tools such as Power BI, Excel, and. SSRS.
• Program queries in SQL Server to support the data warehouse and provide end users with data sets.
• Work with users to create ad-hoc reports and data queries
• Provide training to end users on BI tools as part of a self-service environment
• Ensure the cleanliness and accuracy of analytical data.
• Identify any project risks and impediments, notify management, and work with other team members to complete assigned tasks as defined by project scope, timelines and budget
• Must reside in Atlanta area and able to train onsite at our location.

Qualifications:
Required Skills:

• Bachelors Degree
• Microsoft SQL Server development experience, including database design, SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
• Proficient in relational and OLAP database design, development, and interaction using Microsoft SQL Server
• Solid experience at writing complex Microsoft SQL Server T-SQL queries and understanding requirements for complex queries and procedures.
• Experience with Power BI development including DAX programming.
• Experience with Excel Power BI tools (Power Pivot, Power View, Power Query)
• At least 2-3 years of recent work experience in a BI development environment
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
• Ability to set deadlines and manage time to meet project requirements

Desired Skills:

• Knowledge of Healthcare industry programming
• Previous work in an Agile/Scrum team environment
• Experience with Team Foundation Server
