Volvo Energy is our newest business area with the overarching purpose of supporting the Volvo Group's transformation ambitions within electrification, sustainability, circularity, complete service offer, profitable growth, and resilience.

Within Charging and Infrastructure Solutions, we develop end-to-end charging solutions and new business models to accelerate the rollout of Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV)/Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles (FCEV) in conjunction with Business Areas and partners.

We take a hands-on approach to charging solutions, becoming our brands' trusted partners for infrastructure, and lead the development of charging infrastructure offers and partnerships for customers, dealers, and public charging sites.

We identify and extract public funding and subsidies across applicable markets and regions. We create new business opportunities as well as value propositions together with our Volvo Group colleagues and external partners. We jointly simplify the electrification transformation for our customers and society, as well as accelerate the journey towards 100% fossil free and in doing so, we support Volvo Group's sustainability goals.

We are looking for a new colleague to join our team as Product Manager, Charge Point Operator Partnerships.

In this role you will

• Work in close cooperation with Volvo Group colleagues and external partners to build, establish and maintain a best-in-industry services portfolio in the area public and semi-public charging space for medium and heavy duty vehicles

• Define integration strategy and execution plan for Volvo Group's charging solutions with the external Charge Point Operators (CPO's), to ensure a seamless, industry-leading public charging offer

• Identify/build/integrate/maintain a network of high-quality CPO's to enable access to HD/MD public charging for VG customers

• Build and maintain relationships at all levels with relevant CPO's

• Manage projects to completion, including business, operational, and technical system integration with external CPO partners and internal stakeholders

• Define and implement efficient CPO interfaces for operational support processes for the business areas within public charging and infrastructure solutions

• Support VG Brand marketing teams to promote and communicate brand-specific offers

Other responsibilities will include

• Manage C&IS related projects and strategic partnerships as required

• Give regional/local perspective on CPO related requirements and design pre-requisites

• Together with Volvo Group colleagues track regional/local legislation and anticipate strategic impact

Who are you?

Qualifications likely required to be successful

• BA/BS in Business Administration, Finance, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent business experience. MBA preferred

• Significant experience from EV charging and infrastructure solutions, encompassing hardware, software, and services

• In-depth knowledge of charging network value chains and implementation strategies

• Practical experience from working with and negotiating with CPOs. Experience from working with utilities and/or energy industries is a plus

• Significant experience from the transportation industry, including a 360-degree view of customer operations, TCO, and electrification needs

• Experience from development, industrialization, and implementation of commercial total offer solutions, including partners' system integration

• General understanding of cloud-based IT systems and API integrations

• Excellent in establishing cross-sectorial long-term partnerships and negotiating agreements with multiple stakeholders

• Strong network within the company and among charging and infrastructure industry leading forums and associations

• Excellent knowledge in building frameworks (process, methods, strategies, plans) and leveraging intrapreneurial skills in large, cross-functional organizations

• Pragmatic hands-on approach going from words to action

• Proven excellent verbal and written communication skills
