Description

We are looking for a Project Manager for a Company in the Canton area. This role involves managing a variety of business projects within the logistics industry, with a specific focus on physical environments such as oil and gas projects, construction, and mechanical projects. This is a contract position that requires a blend of cross-functional project management, formal project management, and IT project management skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a broad range of business projects within the logistics industry - Apply formal project management methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget - Utilize IT project management skills to optimize the use of technology in project execution - Collaborate with various teams and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met - Apply knowledge of physical environments such as oil and gas projects, construction, and mechanical projects in project management - Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure successful completion - Resolve project-related issues promptly to prevent delays - Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all project activities - Use PMO - Project Management Office skills to develop and implement project strategies - Report project status and progress to stakeholders regularly

Requirements

  • Must have a strong background in Project Management or a Senior Consultant role

  • Proven experience in Cross Functional Project Management is essential

  • Formal Project Management skills and IT Project Management skills are required

  • Experience in PMO - Project Management Office is a must

  • Must have a good understanding of Logistics and the Logistics Industry

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills are necessary

  • Should have the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously

  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure are required

  • Must have sound knowledge of project management software and tools

  • Should have the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team

  • A bachelor's degree in Business or related field is required, a master's degree is preferable.
