Our client is seeking a dedicated Scrum Master/Senior Project Manager to join their dynamic team. This role is a 12-month contract with the potential for extension, offering a hybrid work model based in Minneapolis, MN.
As a Scrum Master/Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for facilitating program events such as PI Planning, Inspect & Adapt, the Scrum of Scrums, and Portfolio leadership meetings. You will also be expected to:
- Facilitate synchronization events, including ART sync and Solution Train sync
- Track and report the ART performance, identify dependencies, risks, and impediments
- Facilitate the Agile Release Train (ART), escalate impediments, manage risk, and help drive program-level continuous improvement
- Communicate the train's progress via weekly updates to management
- Facilitate team collaboration with Solution Architect and Test Lead to ensure high-quality technical delivery
- Participate in Portfolio and Program Management process improvement and standardization activities
- Interface with project stakeholders and consult with management on an ongoing basis
The ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum 4 years working in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, DevOps) with a minimum of 2 years in a SAFe environment
- Direct experience working as an RTE or Program Manager
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience implementing SAFe or a similar Agile scaling framework
- SAFe certification: SAFe Agilist (SA), SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE), or SAFe Program Consultant
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) required
- Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship management skills
- Experience in change management and risk management
- Knowledge of Project Management methodologies and tools, and understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)
- Experience with Agile tools: ServiceNow Agile, JIRA, Confluence, AzureDevOps, or other similar ALM tools
- Financial and Insurance Product Industry Experience is a plus
