Defect Administrator/Manager (Contract)
Location: Manchester, Greater Manchester, North West Country: UK Rate: £250 - £300 per day
Defect Administrator/Manager
An experienced Defect Administrator or Defect Manager is required by an international financial services organisation to work with the Change team on a Policy Admin System upgrade and migration project.
You will need:
- Strong hands-on experience of defect management processes and methodologies
- Strong Jira experience for defect management, including configuring projects, workflows, and issue types
- Understanding of testing life cycle
- Experience of analysing data to identify trends and drive best practice
- Ability to work with all relevant parties to ensure effective defect management throughout the delivery life cycle
- Strong stakeholder management experience
- Experience of managing and working closely with 3rd Party Suppliers
- Ability to triage based on severity, impact and urgency
Your responsibilities will include:
- Metrics and Reporting
- Training and support for users
- Integration and automation of Jira with other tools and systems
