Our client is looking for a Azure DevSecOps Engineer in Edinburgh/London, UK.

Must Have - Platform engineer, Azure DevOps and CI/CD tools, Azure Cloud, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Services, Apache Spark, Experience of using IAC (terraform, APIs), Data Engineer, Big Data, PySpark

JOB DETAILS

You will be responsible for the platform and its integration with enterprise services & capabilities that ensure the platform & processes are robust, secure and compliant. Responsible for identifying the backlog of activities required to support scalability, performance, security, resilience, observability. Using strong problem-solving skills and a combination of tech knowledge, experience & judgement to identify available options & clearly set out the way forward. Creating, developing, documenting efficient solutions & frameworks with the potential across organization.

Skill/Experience

• Solid understanding of data Engineering concepts & experience of building and maintaining reliable & scalable big data platforms
• Experience of integrating azure hosted platforms withing expertise capabilities including Service now, Cyberarc, Azure Devops in an enterprise environment.
• Experience in implementing development life cycle including dependency management and devops and CI/CD tools and techniques (Azure DevOps GiT)
• Solid understanding of cloud services, especially Microsoft Azure, is recommended as Microsoft Fabric is integrated with Azure services
• Experience in working in an DevOps/Agile
• Experience of managing environments using IAC (Terraform API's)
• Experience of designing robust, secured and compliant platform Capabilities.
• Strong understanding of Apache Spark including its architecture, components & how to create, monitor, optimize & scale Spark jobs.
