Machine Learning Engineer (Contract)
Location: Greater London Country: UK
We are currently looking for an experienced Machine Learning Engineer to work an exciting project, utilising the latest technologies. You will work closely with data scientists to take ML models from research to production while upholding engineering best practices.
*Outside IR35*
Responsibilities:
- Experience working with Data Scientists to understand ML models and translate them into robust, scalable production code using Python and tools like TensorFlow.
- Build and maintain ML pipeline architecture for activities including data ingestion, model training/retraining, evaluation, and deployment.
- Leverage cloud platforms (GCP) to create ML workflow orchestration and integrate with production systems, Vertex AI.
- Monitor and maintain ML systems in production, address performance issues, and implement improvements.
- Define software engineering standards for building, documenting, testing and deploying machine learning code.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in ML ops and DevOps for machine learning systems.
Requirements:
- 3+ years' experience building and deploying machine learning systems.
- Expert in Python. Knowledge of common ML libraries like Pandas, NumPy and Scikit-Learn.
- Experience with ML workflow orchestration tools (Kubeflow, MLFlow, Airflow etc).
- Experience with Vertex AI
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes.
- Ability to collaborate with data scientists and software engineers.
