Azure Cloud Architect - 6 Month Contract - Inside IR35 - UK (Hybrid)

Hamilton Barnes is representing a leading consultancy service who are looking to hire an Azure Cloud Architect, working on site with a major energy provider.

We are seeking a talented Azure Cloud Architect to join our team on a contract basis. As an Azure Cloud Architect, you will design Azure landing zones and network architecture aligned to the Well Architected Framework (WAF) to incorporate Azure best-practice for use of native services as well as shared and security services for foundation phase and then extended to end-state.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design Azure landing zones
• Use Azure services such as Azure API management to orchestrate calls to Back End systems
• Design and implement cloud securities and policies that meet an organisations specific needs
• Work with partner architects to devise the future vision
• Develop the workload migration strategy and approach based on application affinity analysis

What You Will Ideally Bring:

• Experience in Azure landing zone design, platform automation design, access management & privileged identity design
• Understanding of Cloud Platform Services (IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS)
• Experience in security architecture, platform monitoring and high availability architecture design
• DevOps methodology experience (DevSecOps)
• Azure AD management experience, solutions for SSO, MFA and AD Synchronization

Contract Details:

• Duration: 6 months
• Location: Wokingham (3 Days Per Week)
• Day Rate: Up to £600 Per Day (Inside IR35)
• Start Date: ASAP
