Systems Engineer - 3 month contract - outside IR35 - Edinburgh/Remote First
Our Third Sector client is looking for a skilled Infrastructure Engineer to join their busy team in central Edinburgh.
Successful candidates will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimising their IT infrastructure and ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of their systems, with a specific emphasis on Windows RDS, O365, Meraki technologies, and Networking.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain Windows Remote Desktop Services (RDS) environment to ensure optimal performance and availability.
- Administer Office 365 suite including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and other related tools.
- Configure and manage Meraki technologies to safeguard their network infrastructure.
- Monitor and troubleshoot networking issues to ensure seamless connectivity for end-users.
- Work closely with internal teams to implement infrastructure upgrades and enhancements.
- Provide technical support and guidance to resolve IT-related issues promptly.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience with Windows Remote Desktop Services (RDS) administration.
- Strong skills in Office 365 administration and configuration.
- Hands-on experience with Meraki Networking technologies.
- Sound understanding of networking principles and protocols.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
