Senior Backend Software Engineer (Typescript/Node/PostgreSQL), Hybrid London, £75,000-£85,000 + equity + benefits

Senior Backend Software Engineer (Node/Typescript) sought for a fast-growth growth and innovative tech startup based in London who are on a mission to modernize the relationship between businesses and the public sector through their unique SaaS platform. This is a well-funded scaling company who put their people at the heart of what they do and are looking to bolster their engineering team.

As a Senior Backend Software Engineer (Node/Typescript), you will work on a range of upcoming exciting projects including a new AI product, developing data ingestion pipelines, services backing cutting-edge features in a SaaS web application and many more. The Senior Backend Software Engineer (Node/Typescript) will be working with a talented engineering team that encourages constant learning and growth by trying new technologies and sharing knowledge.

This role is offering up to £85,000 (depending on experience) + up to 50% equity, 25 days holiday, flexible working, work from home options, a home office budget and many other benefits

In return for:

- 5+ years experience as a software engineer

- Experience with Typescript preferred or an alternative Back End language with an excitement/interest to learn Typescript

- Commercial experience with Node.js (bonus if exposure to React)

- Strong knowledge of system design and architecture patterns

- Good knowledge of relational databases preferably PostgreSQL

- Experience with building applications running in the cloud is a bonus

- It's highly desirable if you can build data intensive applications or understand event based architectures

As a Senior Backend Software Engineer (Node/Typescript) you will have the chance to collaborate closely with a number of full stack, front and Back End engineers building the customer facing web application to provide them with the best way to access and integrate with the data Back End.
