As a Microsoft Power BI specialist, you will join us on our journey to enhance our Data Value Realisation and it's ability to deliver a complete customer-focused service to the organisation for all its Business Intelligence needs.

You will be the go-to person for providing advice and support where needed, helping to deliver excellence in all areas and helping to uphold a service-focused, customer-centric approach.

This is a highly valuable role where you will be an advocate for Power BI responsible for maintaining, supporting, and developing Post Office's Power BI expertise.

In this role you will have the exciting opportunity to work with others across the team and the wider organisation to help deliver and develop solutions that provide meaningful data for the business, helping the team deliver quality and value to its customers.

What you'll need to succeed

As a Data Analyst, you will be a highly experienced, dynamic MS Power BI specialist, who is adept at Datamodelling, data visualization and dataset preparation, to deliver and implement effective reporting solutions.

You will have:
Strong SQL and Power BI (DAX or Power Query or R) skills with experience in developing reports
Proven experience as a BI Developer
Experience of data warehouse design (dimensional modelling)
Able to extract and transform data from multiple sources & the ability to ingest various data sources
A flair for designing and building creative and efficient reports and dashboards in Power BI
Understanding of the commercial environment and terminology
