SAP Supply Chain/Manufacturing Lead (Contract)

Location: City of London Country: UK Rate: £market rate
 

SAP Supply Chain/Manufacturing Lead

Main Responsibilities and Tasks

Whitehall Resources require a SAP Supply Chain/Manufacturing Lead to work with a key client on an initial 12 month contract.

*This role has been deemed as inside IR35.

*This is a hybrid model role with onsite work in London 2-3 days per week.

SAP Supply Chain/Manufacturing Lead

Main Responsibilities and Tasks:
. Collect & align requirements from BPO; collaborate on system design to optimize business processes as per client best practice and core model.
. Prioritize and manage projects, including break fix resolutions and enhancements, in close alignment with BPO, lead and deliver Mini projects independently.
. Function as a subject matter expert utilizing SAP modules predominantly MM, WM, PP, QM, AM.
. Lead the business to sustainable solutions based on industry standards and best practices.
. Strong ability to propose and make business and system related decisions to solve issues.
. Represent IT from a technical and functional perspective for processes and integration points.
. Independently create written deliverables, document processes, create and deliver presentations and train end users and support resources.
. Ensure that all integration elements are addressed for both SAP driven processes as well as other core applications interacting with SAP as per core model
. Configure SAP to support the business solutions including reporting.
. Strong capability to manage ambiguity, find pragmatic solutions & align/influence with key stakeholders.
. Define the Master data required to support the processes.
. Support all change management and communication activities.
. Support AMS Partner team on support issues for the solutions and changes.
. Collaborate with internal and external resources to deliver the projects.
. Delivers updated GxP validation materials.
. Provides impact analysis on solution(s) and GxP validation materials.
. Ensures Core Model & Localized variants are current.
. Create and Updates functional & technical architecture reference materials.
. Create and Updates functional & technical reference documents (infrastructures; setup and configurations; security; technical administration; scheduled instructions; backup and restore procedures; functional administration & end-user guides, etc.)
. Updates GxP validation reference documents.
. Provide consulting to S/4 program on ECC As-IS design, Best practices and Core models and SAP to core integrations/interfaces predominantly around SAP modules - MM, WM, PP, QM, AM.

Education/Certifications:
. Bachelor's Degree in relevant discipline
. SAP Certification Preferred on MM, PP, WM, QM, AM
. Certification on Project management and ITIL preferred.

Experience:
. Extensive experience of SAP domain and IT experience in key Supply chain areas - Manufacturing/Procurement/planning/Quality within the Pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical industry.
. Strong SAP project/support(ITIL framework) delivery experience
. Experience in change management activities, including change impact assessments, business readiness assessment and communication.
. Strong accountability to prepare and execute work plans with ability to proactively identify and effectively address problems to achieve successful outcomes.
. Configuration experience of MM/PP/QM/WM modules,
. Experience on Integration and interfaces with SAP (A2A, B2B, integration with LSP - ALE/EDI/IDocs configuration)
. Output type configuration.
. Pharma company project delivery and IT QA Computer System Validation process.
. Previous experience of ECC SC process knowledge preferred.
. Knowledge of S/4 Hana, SD, SAP Finance, Basis and security module is advantageous.

Languages:
. English
. French would be an asset.
