Company Introduction
We have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our sector-leading professional services clients! They are currently looking for a skilled Product Manager to join their team for a nine-month contract.

Job Responsibilities/Objectives

  1. Create and own the sprint backlog, lead user story creation and estimation sessions.
  2. Discuss requirements with engineering teams providing business context, making feature and design trade-offs, performing test and sprint reviews - escalating where necessary to the Senior Product Manager.

Required Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following:

  1. Create and own the sprint backlog, lead user story creation and estimation sessions.
  2. Discuss requirements with engineering teams providing business context, making feature and design trade-offs, performing test and sprint reviews - escalating where necessary to the Senior Product Manager.
  3. Work with the Senior Product Manager or Product Director to prioritise the detailed product backlog, working with technical teams to ensure sprint level releases are aligned to the strategic product roadmap.
  4. The ability to grasp both the commercial and technical aspects of a product development.
  5. Manage the role out of the product within the business (eg system and process updates, communications and training to all appropriate areas). Support the Learning team to produce training and education materials for internal and external upskilling where required.
  6. Work closely with engineering and UX teams on a day-to-day basis to resolve challenges and ensure we build quality products our users love while championing agile software development best-practice.
  7. Run research on existing users with the UX team, supporting the Senior Product Manager to gather feedback from client and account teams to inform your work and track product success.
  8. Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.
