Deerfoot IT Recruitment is seeking a talented and experienced Android App Developer to join our client's inclusive team on a contract basis. This exciting remote opportunity offers the chance to work with a reputable client in the property management sector, working on an application specifically designed for landlords, and it comes with a favourable day rate.

The app focuses on various features to streamline property management, including managing rental payments. You will develop and maintain a robust, user-friendly Android application and collaborate with the project team to define, design, and ship new features.

During your first few weeks in this Android Developer role, you can expect to:

• Develop and maintain a robust, user-friendly Android application
• Collaborate with the project team to define, design, and ship new features
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
• Help maintain code quality, organisation, and automation

To apply for this Android App Developer role, your soft skills, expertise, and experience should include:

• Knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to Back End services
• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
• Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements

You'll receive an excellent contract rate of £350.00 per day in return for your knowledge, expertise, and flexibility.
