Network Engineer | 9 months Contract | AWS | Palo Alto | INSIDE IR35 (Contract)
Location: London - Whitechapel Country: UK
 

An exciting opportunity to join the networking team of a solution orientated mobility company. Their client base is upwards of 700,000; providing change and care to a satisfied community.

They have two hot projects ready to go. One revolving around Firewalls, and the other around cloud strategy.

REQUIREMENTS-

  • Proficient knowledge of AWS Networking Services ie VPC, Direct Connect, Transit Gateways, WAF, NACL, SG etc.
  • Hand-on experience with Palo Alto Networks products eg Firewalls, Panorama, Prisma Access
  • Knowledge and experience of core Networking principles (TCP/IP, Packet Capture, Dynamic Routing - BGP,OSPF)
  • Experience working with scalable networking technologies such as Load Balancers/Firewalls and web standards
  • Understanding of Cloud strategy and architecture
  • Understanding of network concepts in relation to On-premise, Hybrid and Cloud environments
  • Working with development methodologies: Agile, Scrum
  • AWS and/or Palo Alto Certified
  • Can work effectively with Manage Service Providers/and 3rd parties
  • Familiar with Cloud Security, Identity, compliance and standard IT security practices such as encryption, certificates and key management
