A leading organisation based in Northampton are looking for an experienced Test Manager to join their team. They are in the process of setting up a new Automated Warehouse and require a professional with expertise in testing Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), robotics, and automation systems.

The Test Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing multiple testing procedures, ensuring robust testing protocols are in place, and collaborating with various suppliers to guarantee the successful implementation of our new automated systems.

Key Skills and Responsibilities:

  • Proven experience as a Test Manager with a strong track record of managing multiple testing procedures and ensuring they run smoothly.
  • Extensive experience in testing WMS systems, robotics, and automation technologies.
  • Previous experience within the logistics sector is highly desirable.
  • Ability to develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies and plans.
  • Proficient with various testing methodologies and tools, including UAT (User Acceptance Testing), E2E (End-to-End), and integration testing.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively within a collaborative team environment.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to understand testing requirements and objectives.
  • Defect Management: Identify and report defects, track their resolution, and ensure quality deliverables.
  • Progress Reporting: Communicate effectively with project teams, stakeholders, and management regarding testing progress, issues, and risks.
