Digital Project Manager (Permanent)

Location: Glasgow, Scotland Country: UK Rate: £50k - £60k per annum

Your new role

  • Collaborate with the Project Management Lead to select the most effective strategy for each project, ensuring the right mix of documentation and control methods are applied, such as User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, Project Plans, Wireframes, Technical Specifications, Test Plans, Project Reports, and Client Action Logs.
  • Guarantee the optimal use of JIRA and Confluence according to our procedures, keep JIRA boards up to date, and ensure every project is accompanied by a report.
  • Keep a log of Risks and Issues, actively engaging in efforts to address and reduce them.
  • Track project progress against the plan, implementing necessary adjustments or raising concerns as needed.
  • Update internal teams on project status and maintain direct communication with clients regarding progress.
  • Conduct workshops effectively and generate related deliverables.
  • Guide the delivery team in defining project scope, estimating costs, and creating solid plans for capacity and delivery, while fostering a motivated, cooperative, and cohesive team environment.
  • Recognise potential hurdles and assist the team in devising strategies to navigate or eliminate these challenges.
  • Prioritise tasks and direct the team's focus towards the most critical aspects to secure successful outcomes for our clients.
  • Promote a culture of ongoing enhancement and refinement within the team.
  • Take a leadership role, setting an example and energising the team to embody our commitment to diligence and exceptional performance.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Capable of selecting and implementing the most suitable project delivery methods.
  • Proficient in scoping and pricing work within our financial framework, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to revenue recognition practices.
  • Skilled at bridging gaps between departments and conveying information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, fostering collaborative discussions.
  • Understands the significance of detailed planning and forecasting, and can effectively communicate these plans to stakeholders.
  • Committed to achieving desired outcomes by refining processes and proposing enhancements to inefficient ones.
  • Assumes responsibility for resolving issues in collaboration with relevant teams.
  • Familiar with the various stages of project delivery, capable of planning, executing, and maintaining progress, while resolving obstacles to meet delivery commitments.
  • Able to lead, motivate, and drive a team towards success, providing constructive feedback, resolving conflicts, and ensuring a focus on delivery within budget and time constraints.
