Vulnerability Analyst (SC Eligible) - 6 months - Hybrid (Gloucester) - Inside IR35

Hamilton Barnes is looking for a highly skilled Vulnerability Analyst to join a dynamic team within a renowned organisation. You will play a key role in identifying and managing security vulnerabilities using the Tenable One platform, ensuring the safety and integrity of the organisation's IT infrastructure.

This hybrid role requires one day per week working in the Gloucester office, providing flexibility while ensuring collaboration with key stakeholders. The role has been signed off inside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize Tenable One for vulnerability scanning, tracking, and reporting.
  • Identify, analyse, and manage security vulnerabilities in the IT environment.
  • Create clear, actionable vulnerability reports and translate technical findings into business impact.
  • Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices in vulnerability management.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of CVE (Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures) and CVSS (Common Vulnerability Scoring System) frameworks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address vulnerabilities and mitigate security risks.

What You Will Ideally Bring:

  • Eligible for Security Clearance (SC)
  • Proficiency in using Tenable One for vulnerability management.
  • Strong knowledge of CVE and CVSS frameworks.
  • Experience managing the full life-cycle of vulnerabilities, from identification to remediation.
  • Excellent communication and report-writing skills, with the ability to translate technical issues into business context.
  • Understanding of compliance standards and best practices in vulnerability management.
  • Strong collaboration skills for working with internal and external stakeholders.

Contract Details:

  • Duration: 6 months (View for Extension)
  • Day Rate: Up to £425 per day (Inside IR35)
  • Location: Gloucester (Hybrid, 1x Per Week in Office)
